Seth Rogan and his writing partner, Evan Goldberg, are wrapping up talks to co-write and co-produce the film version of The Green Hornet in which Rogan will play the star. Based on the characters created for the radio in 1936, the series eventually had its most famous run on television from 1966-67, and featured a young Bruce Lee as the sidekick Kato. With Rogan and Goldberg writing the film, and with Rogan as the star, many assume that the film will have a more comedic slant. The studio, Columbia Pictures, is remaining quiet on the nature of the film. Let?s hope Rogan and Co. add some comedy to this film, because if this film takes itself too seriously, we may be left with little more than a green batman.
