Fox 2000 has a Thirst for Vampires
Fox 2000 and Scott Free recently paid seven figures for the film rights to Jordan Ainsley?s vampire trilogy that begins with The Passage. Ridley Scott is peeking his head up in interest of the film version of these books, but nothing is set yet for director, or cast. In fact, the first installment hasn?t even been published yet! It caught the attention of a Fox 2000 executive, but the book itself will not hit shelves until Summer 2009. The trilogy focuses on a group of near death patients who are bit by bats and cured. When the ever meddling government steps in to try and harness this power, they unleash a flood of vampires on the world. Sounds like Fox just can?t wait to sink their teeth into this one.
