McGrath to Script 'The Store'

Jenna McGrath, recent screenwriting graduate from UCLA, has been hired by Strike Entertainment to write an adaptation of Bentley Little?s novel, The Store. The story centers around Juniper, Arizona, a small town in the desert that is rocked when a retail giant moves in and takes over the town.
Brainwashing and glorification of the store owner begins to seep in, and overall it seems to be an enjoyable read. The book has gotten pretty rave reviews, so hopefully the film will be able to capture the spirit of the novel.
