From Variety
Lionsgate UK has just picked up the rights to Flood, the disaster movie from producer and distributor Power. The film had a $30 million budget and was directed by Tony Mitchell. The film was shot in South Africa and London, and centers around a group of barrier engineers who have little time to save London from a giant flood that overflows the Thames.
The film stars Robert Carlyle, who must work with his ex-wife and her father to figure a way out of the mess and a way to save all of the people of London. While this film sounds interesting, I?d be much more interested if Carlyle was reprising his role of ?Begbie? in this film.
