Jeremy Passmore?s thriller, Summer?s End, has just been optioned by Rogue Pictures. Passmore, as part of the deal, is working on a rewrite to the original concept. The story centers on a town where a virus wipes out the adult population, and a group of teens have to fight for their lives when the government comes in to quarantine. Though certainly no adaptation, this sounds very much like O.T. Nelson?s 1975 novel, The Girl Who Owned A City, which was one of my favorite books growing up.
