Rodriguez, Lang to Head to Space

Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodriguez are set to join Sigourney Weaver and others in James Cameron?s 3D sci-fi epic, Avatar. The film is about a group of Humans who travel to the distant planet Pandora, where they find a human-like race with their own distinct culture. They crew battles the culture and each other in this sprawling film.
The film will feature a mix of live action and virtual characters, and is being shot at Peter Jackson?s Weta Digital studios. The debut for the film is May 22, 2009. I know that?s less than two years away, but doesn?t that date seem far in the future?
