?Painkiller? For the Big Screen

Guy Walks Into a Bar productions has recently purchased the rights to Painkiller, a video game from DreamCatcher entertainment that will be adapted to the big screen. The game itself is about a man who is trapped in between heaven and hell, and has to fight for the forces of good and evil as a pawn in their giant war. It was first released on PC, and then came to Xbox as Painkiller: Hell Wars.
DreamCatcher agreed to sell the rights because they liked what Guy Walks has planned for the film. Apparently it will capture the quick and heart pounding action while including the vast array of weapons seen in the game. That?s honestly all I need to hear. How many video game adaptations have we seen where the weapons are just forgotten? If you can find a Gatling gun hiding in a locker in a game, then there should be lockers full of them in the film!
