Beneath -- Produced by MTV Films, distributed (directly to video) by Paramount, and starring a bunch of young people I've never heard of. Expect a full-bore review this week, but don't expect a massive rave.

Bubba Ho-tep (Special Edition) -- The greatest movie ever made about Elvis, JFK, and an undead mummy ... is back! To be honest I have no idea what "new stuff" will be included in this 'Hail to the King Edition' -- but rest assured that I will find out. (MGM)

Darkman Trilogy -- The first one's a mini-classic dark superhero adventure; the sequels are purely dumb and kinda fun. Now all in one handy disc. Cool. (Universal)

Disturbia -- Made a ton of money and even a fair share of positive feedback, but this 9th generation "Hitchcock Lite" did next to nothing for me. Some kid on house arrest suspects his neighbor of being a vicious murderer. You fill in the rest. At least the extras look nifty.
(DreamWorks)

Friday the 13th Double Feature -- On the off chance that you don't already own A) the bare-bones discs or B) the 8-movie mega-set, well then here's the first two Fridays in one gore-soaked disc. Enjoy.
(Paramount)

Mustang Sally's Horror House -- Who knows? I just like the title. Plus it'll be nice to see Elizabeth "E.G." Daily again. Also, I think it's an anthology piece, which means that even if it's wretched, it still might be amusing. (MTI)

Odd triple feature of the week: April Fool's Day / Graveyard Shift / Tales from the Darkside: The Movie -- Not bad for 11 bucks. (Paramount)

Also this week: Bad Reputation (Maverick), Dawn of the Living Dead (Hanover House), Dead Heist (Urban Works), Dead in the Water (Indican), Killer Killer (York), My Wife and My Dead Wife (York), and Rose of Death, Storm of the Dead, and The Traveler -- all from the lunatics at Brain Damage Films

Next week: Masters of horror, more double and triple features, some feature-length crypt tales, and a very cool flick called VACANCY that you might want to catch up on.
