Terrorism and Vampire Zombies

Do you like war movies centered on the Middle East but feel like they?re missing something? Is that something vampires? Or zombies? Or maybe vampire zombies? If so, has New Regency got a movie for you. New Regency is working on Virulents, based off the Vertigo comic book of the same name. John Moore, director of The Omen, is set to direct.
The story features a group of soldiers in Afghanistan, searching for a lost unit. The group is made up of some American and Indian soldiers, and everything is going well (or, as well as it could for a Middle Eastern war) when all of a sudden they stumble upon a group of vampire zombies. As if fighting in a war isn?t enough, these poor guys have to deal with this? I bet they didn?t even pack garlic, or wooden stakes.
