A New Millenium for ?Conan?

New Millenium has just paid seven figures to produce and develop a new set of Conan the Barbarian films. Conan, the original film that launched Arnold Schwarzenegger?s career, is set to start production in early Spring. The franchise already has momentum, with such properties as a comic book, an upcoming video game, and an online multiplayer game.
The success of such franchises as Spider Man and Transformers sparked a renewed interest in the franchise, which was caught in negotiation hell with WB for a long time. The new productions aim to stay truer to the original vision than the Schwarzenegger films were.
