After Dark Comes Autonomous

After Dark film partners Courtney Solomon and Allan Zeman have launched
Autonomous Films. Autonomous is set to be an accompaniment production
and distribution company to go with After Dark Films. They have planned
to place into production three films in 2008's first quarter, with one
film set for distribution in the fourth quarter.
The new label will still be part of the existing three year deal with
Lionsgate, but these films will not be geared as much toward horror.
Two of the planned films are said to be broad comedies and one is an
action film.
