Borderline Cult -- Well there's a cheap way to become a "cult" movie!
Ha. All lame humor aside, it's a horror flick about a cult. And we can always use a few more of those. (Lionsgate)

Exorcismo -- Freaky Spanish devil flick from 1975. Does the name Paul Naschy ring a bell? Ok then. Very cool cover art though. (BCI Eclipse)

Frankenstein vs. The Creature from Blood Cove -- How could you not want to see a movie with a title like that? (Eventually, I mean.)

Malicious -- Molly Ringwald goes fatal attraction in this little-seen 1995 semi-thriller. But it's got John Vernon in it, which means the flick may warrant a full-length review. (Republic)

Rob Zombie 3-Disc Collection -- Includes House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and ... a third disc, apparently. Coincidentally released just in time for Zombie's Halloween remake. (Lionsgate)

Robocop Collector's Edition -- I know it's not horror, but it's as graphically violent as it is awesome. So I included it and I bet you don't even mind. (MGM)

Dexter (Season 1) -- What happens when an ice-blooded sociopathic murderer is also a cop? You'd have to rent the first season of the very buzzed-about Showtime series to find out the answers. Based on the novel by Jeff Lindsay and boasting some stellar work from Six Feet Under star Michael C. Hall, the series is equal parts horror, cop show, and subtle satire. Damn good stuff. (Paramount)

Also this week: Titles like Collapse (Laguna), Dr. Moreau's House of Pain (Wizard), Night of the Sorcerers (BCI Eclipse), and Oooh
Bloodhound: The Vampire Gigolo Volume 3
!

Next week: An even skimpier week, if you can believe it -- although there are a few small nuggets worth looking at. And wait till you digital horror freaks get a peek at September's release schedule!
