Mendes to join ?Spirit?
Frank Miller?s (Sin City) adaptation of Will Eisner?s The Spirit has just rounded up another big name celebrity to its cast. Eva Mendes (Ghost Rider) will star opposite Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Gabriel Macht in Miller?s directorial effort.
Mendes will play the role of Sand Saref, a femme fatale who was once in love with The Spirit, but after their families conflicted they were pulled apart. Macht will play the title role of the spirit, with Scarlett Johansson as the femme fatale Silken Floss and Samuel L. Jackson as the villian, the Octopus.
