Though Rob Zombie?s Halloween was a resounding success in theaters this holiday weekend, it has been reported that Bob Weinstein does not see the franchise progressing any further. The film, a remake of the classic 1978 Carpenter film, took a beating from the critics, but audiences ate it up.

The 31 million dollar weekend gross shattered all previous Labor Day records, but despite the success, Weinstein told Reuters: ?I never say never ... but it would have to be something very, very different,". Does anyone else find this hard to believe? Not only did he mention that he "never says never", but Tyler Mane reported that he was already signed on for a sequel. I guess we?ll see what the future holds for Michael.
