Scott Campbell, famed tattoo artist has left his Los Angeles stomping grounds to take a cross country motorcycle ride for charity! Scott and fellow partners of the studio Mama Tried, Charlie Cox and Ned Gammell, left on September 1st, escalating a friendly bet to a huge philanthropic project! When Scott, an American motorcyclist, got together with partner Charlie, a British native, and discovered that he wasn?t aware of the signature biker wave, he set out show Charlie that throughout America, bikers know that when a left hand is pointing downward, it is a sign of mutual respect. From the time the crew left Los Angeles on September 1st until the time they arrive in New York on September 11th, the fundraiser will ensue collecting $10 from Charlie for each rider who reciprocates the wave, and $10 from Scott for each rider who does not. Though you may not be able to take the approximate 2,800 mile venture, you can donate to the cause or find more information from the Mama Tried official website, with all proceeds going to The Parry Center for Children in Portland, Oregon.
