They say what happens in Vegas?well, you know the rest.
But we at FEARnet believe it?s sometimes best to share one?s Vegas experiences with the world, especially when they revolve around the Milla Jovovich slicing and dicing legions of the undead. Tonight, we spoke with a very pregnant Milla and the cast of Extinction (her latest and possibly final Resident Evil epic)?including stars Ali Larter, Oded Fehr, Ashanti and Mike Epps?at their film?s world premiere in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. We?ll be posting these interviews throughout the weekend, as well as video footage of the premiere (Sly Stallone and Pamela Anderson showed up!) and pics (the after party wrapped up early on account of rain, but not before we feasted our eyes on, and chatted up, models and dancers dressed in, um, skimpier versions of the costumes worn by Extinction?s zombie-fighting heroines). It?s hard, however, to pick our favorite moment of the evening? Perhaps checking out an exhibit of original costumes from the film? Chatting with Pam Anderson about her own ass-kicking-chick flick Barb Wire? Drinking beer in a packed theater in a casino during the screening? (Sorry, but we?re from Quaker-founded Philadelphia, where such things are unheard of.) Oh, hell, it was probably hearing Ali Larter wrap up her interview by telling us to get ready for her red carpet appearance and her ?foxy little mini-dress.? (We do have a tough job. Honest.)
For now, though, here?s the Extinction cast answering FEARnet?s favorite question??What is your biggest fear??
Milla Jovovich??My biggest fear is probably regret?and sometimes it?s joy. It?s the weirdest thing. Sometimes I remember these incredible moments in my life and it makes me so sad, because they?re gone. That really scares me?getting old and looking back at your life and just knowing that all that is behind you. It?s crazy... Anyway, that?s too deep for an interview. [Laughs.]?
Oded Fehr ? ?My biggest fear? Now that I have children, it?s anything to do with children. Other than that it?s probably a fear of heights. I?m not good with heights. Let me tell you one quick thing about the dark? A lot of people are afraid of the dark. I had great training by my mom?I never hung the washing on time, so I always had to do it at night, because I would never do it during the day, when she would ask me. We had a flat roof in Israel, and I used to have to go every night. It was pitch black, and I remember, as a child, I was so scared every night to hang the washing. And I just taught myself not to be scared of the dark. Anyway, I don?t know where that came from? [Laughs.]?
Ali Larter??Not living life to its fullest. I?m a big savorer. And tonight I shall savor! I?m so excited to be here.?
Mike Epps??My biggest fear in life is saying goodbye to my loved ones. I hate that. I don?t know how I can deal with certain ones leaving me. You know what I mean? I might leave with them. So that?s my fear.?
Ashanti??I?m gonna have to agree. The people that I?m around, my team and my family, they?re the backbone. You know what I mean? To face this business without them, that?s scary. This business is so corrupt?it?s snakes and it?s sharks and it?s crazy out there. If you don?t have a core group of people that really love you genuinely, that?s incredibly scary.?
Mike Epps??If you don?t have nobody to love you, the Department of Correction will! [Laughs.]?
