Swain to star in Slamdance Winner ?Slaughter?

Dominique Swain (Alpha Dog) is set to star in the film Slaughter, winner of the Slamdance horror screenplay competition. The winners of the contest, screenwriters of the new film, are Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby. Victor Garcia (Return to House on Haunted Hill, 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails) is attached to direct the film. Swain will star as an actress who heads off to a remote island to star in a film named Slaughter, but then finds out that it was a trap, and she?s actually an unwilling participant in a snuff film. Don?t you just hate it when that happens?
