Hardwicke to Direct ?Twilight?

Summit Entertainment chose Catherine Hardwicke to direct an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer?s novel, Twilight. Two more installments of the novel series have been published, with two more in the works. The story of Twilight follows Bella, a student who moves to a new school and is drawn to a pale student who is actually a vampire. With the studios smelling franchises like vampires smell blood, we?ll be sure to see at least a sequel if this film so much as breaks even.
