Remaking a Killer
John Woo?s (Broken Arrow, Mission: Impossible 2) action classic The Killer is set to be remade by Director John H. Lee. Apparently, the biggest difference between the two films will be the setting. In the original, Woo set the film in Hong Kong. In the remake, the action will all take place in L.A., from Koreatown, to Chinatown, and finally to South Central. This film follows hot on the heels of the success of another Hong Kong action piece remade in the U.S., Martin Scorcese?s remake of the Hong Kong mob film Infernal Affairs released in the US as The Departed.
