Pegg to Join ?Trek?

Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) will join the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise as Scotty in J.J. Abrams? new pic, Star Trek. The film will follow the exploits of a young Captain James T. Kirk as he and his fellow crew mates attend Starfleet Academy. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are writing the script, and have collaborated much with Abrams in the past (Alias, Mission: Impossible 3). Pegg rounds out a very solid cast, with members including Eric Bana, Zachary Quinto, and Leonard Nimoy to name a few. Now Ghouls, I have to confess, I was never really a Trek guy, but I will watch anything with Simon Pegg?anything!
