Duo to Rework ?Hellraiser?
We recently reported that Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo were in talks to adapt and direct a remake of Clive Barker?s Hellraiser. Today it has been confirmed by Hollywood Reporter that the two writers will rework the original concept by Barker, and plan on using a new Pinhead and a new look to the film. Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo have just come off the success of their horror film Inside, and have made it explicitly clear that they have Clive Barker?s blessing to remake the film. I think I?m going to hold all of my fierce emotions and judgment about this news at least until production starts and we?ve heard more.
