Whedon back on 'Buffy'
Joss Whedon resumes writing Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight for Dark Horse Comics with issue 10 of the series, entitled "Anywhere but Here".
Fans will recall Whedon scripted the book's first five issues earlier this year, before handing the writing chores over to Brian K. Vaugn (who recently joined the writing staff of Lost) for a four-isse run. Now, the Slayer's creator returns for a new arc in which--according to Dark Horse's website--"Buffy and Willow meet a demon who reveals a dim future, forcing the two to reflect on their past. Meanwhile, back in Scotland, Dawn confides in Xander the deed that led to her mysterious growth spurt." Guest artist Cliff Richards will fill in for regular penciller Georges Jeanty on this issue, due out on January 2, 2008. Start the new year with a trip to the Buffyverse!
