Statham to do ?Crank? Again

Jason Statham is confirmed to reprise his role of a hitman in the sequel to Crank titled Crank 2: High Voltage. The film will be produced by Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment. The first film concerned Statham as a hitman injected with a tonic that would kill him if his heart rate dropped. This time around he finds himself at the hands of a Chinese mobster who has stolen his heart (literally, not romantically speaking) and replaced it with a battery powered heart that needs continual jolts of energy to stay alive. Finally, the robot hearted of the world will have their hero!
