Ghost House Pictures, the production company run by Robert Tapert and Sam Raimi, recently signed a deal for North American rights to The Tattooist, Peter Burger?s supernatural thriller. The New Zealand film features Samoan spiritual ideas fused to the tale of a U.S. tattoo artist who releases a powerful and evil spirit with one of his tattoo designs. Tapert commented on the deal, saying that he and Raimi were indie horror directors and producers, so they understand the challenges that these filmmakers are up against.
