Romero Writing More ?Diary? Entries

George A. Romero?s Diary of the Dead, the newest zombie installment from, you guessed it, George A. Romero, will be released next year, but that isn?t stopping it from already getting the greenlight for a sequel. Artfire Films and Romero-Grunwald Prods. have given the go ahead to a sequel that Romero will direct off of his original screenplay. The film will pick up right where Diary leaves off, with the film?s survivors leaving their stronghold and heading to an island, where more of the undead are waiting. Zombies on an island? Hmmm?sounds like someone?s been watching his Fulci.
