Clive Barker, horror's Renaissance man, chatted with FEARnet today, while in New York promoting his new adult horror novel Mister B. Gone--the "true confession" of a demon who escapes Hell only to bring about his own on earth. Barker shared what he knew about the upcoming Hellraiser remake, and expressed some doubt about a potential bit of casting that's vexed many a fan in recent months; saying he was uncertain that Doug Bradley--who's played the iconic Pinhead character in all Hellraiser films to date--would actually be replaced in this new incarnation.

Barker also spoke of his final plans for Pinhead in his next book epic, and dropped some hints about what we can expect in the upcoming film adaptation of his classic short Midnight Meat Train. He then explained the story behind his new videogame Jericho, and his future gaming plans. And he left us with a Halloween treat for the kiddies--news of the upcoming children's film saga Abarat, based on his ongoing book series.

The complete video interview featuring all of this Barker goodness will be up here soon, so keep checking back!
