Marsden to Open ?The Box?

James Marsden (X-Men, Superman Returns) is finishing up talks to star with Cameron Diaz (The Mask) in Richard Kelly?s (Donnie Darko, Southland Tales) new horror film, The Box. The film follows a man and woman who are in an unhappy marriage, who receive a box from a stranger. Instructions follow, telling them that if they press a button on the box they?ll receive a ton of money, but someone they don?t know will die. The film is an adaptation of a short story written in 1970 by Richard Matheson, who adapted it for a mid-80?s episode of The Twilight Zone.
