This weekend, horror dominated the top five box office spots again with Saw IV at number three and 30 Days of Night at number 5. Not only are the rankings impressive, but the total gross of both films are proving that R rated horror is in fact not dead while Saw IV has grossed approximately $52 million and 30 Days has grossed about $35 million. As an added bonus, horror films also seemed to carry throughout the charts this weekend with Tim Burton?s The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D limited re-issue in theaters at number 11.
