Pee-Wee Maniac?
Think Tim Sullivan and the creators of 2001 Maniacs are sick enough to plop Pee-Wee?s playhouse right smack in the middle of Pleasant Valley? Did you ever doubt it? Yesterday we caught up with Tim Sullivan the co-writer and director of the sequel to talk about his film Driftwood starring Diamond Dallas Page (interview here) but we just couldn?t resist asking about 2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys set to hit theaters late October 2008.
When asked about a certain genre veteran?s addition to the cast, Tim replied ?Yup we have Tony Todd, Billy Moseley and a bunch of surprises,? but also revealed that Pee-Wee might just join the cast as well.
?I recently ran into an old friend of mine from my MTV days, Paul Ruebens, at Comic Con and it turns out he?s a huge fan of Maniacs and was asking to be killed in the sequel.
