Meet Your New ?Stepfather?

Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck, Congo), Sela Ward (The Day After Tomorrow) and Penn Badgely (John Tucker Must Die) have signed on to star in the remake of The Stepfather for Screen Gems. The company hopes to make this remake a Hitchcockian thriller, with suspense and Macguffins aplenty! The plot follows a son (Badgely) who believes that his stepfather isn?t all he seems, and may be a serial killer who murdered a previous family. Sela Ward will play the mother, with Dylan Walsh as the stepfather. The plot does support a tense, suspense-filled story-line, but do current audiences have the patience for it? Only time will tell.
