All right, ghoulies, break out your proton packs and hide your foodstuffs from Slimer. The Ghostbusters (the real Ghostbusters, not those crappy Extreme Ghostbusters) are coming back into your life. Vivendi Games and Sony Pictures have signed an agreement to start production on a Ghostbusters videogame franchise, featuring the voice talents of the original Ghostbusters cast?Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis. As they did for that feature film, Akroyd and Ramis will script the game?s storyline. The series? first game will take place after Ghostbusters 2, in the early nineties. We?re talking real-deal, old-school, sarcastically wonderful Ghostbusters action available on PS2, DS, and Wii for casual gamers, and PC, PS3, and XBOX 360 for hardcore fans. That?s right, if you want to play with your kid brother/sister/daughter/son, you can, but you can also get down and dirty in the mean, metaphysical streets of New York City. I?m already unloading the secret stash of Ectoplasmic cooler I?ve been saving?because bustin? makes me feel good!
