Singleton Gets ?Executive Order?

News has just broken that director John Singleton (Four Brothers) will helm the new sci-fi thriller flick, Executive Order: Six. The script, written by Philip Eisner, bases itself on a story he created with Robbie Consing. In a 30 Days-esque plotline, the story follows residents of a tiny snowed in town, who have to work together to fight a mysterious evil force. The presence turns out to be an alien that has been awakened by a plane crash. Though Singleton has no experience directing sci-fi, the script is in good hands. Philip Eisner wrote Event Horizon, one of my all time favorite sci-fi thrillers.
