Joss Whedon's 'Angel' Soars Again
Like his beloved Buffy before him, Joss Whedon's vampire detective Angel is back from beyond--in comic-book form at least. This week sees the launch of Angel: After the Fall, a direct continuation of the character's five TV seasons. The series, launched by IDW, features writer Brian Lynch and artist Franco Urro fleshing out a storyline devised by Whedon himself. (Tony Harris provides the nifty cover art.) Can't wait to learn what happened to Angel, Spike and their pals when they battled the forces of armageddon in their show's big finale? Get to a comic-book shop pronto!
