Rob Cohen has announced that his upcoming film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will be debuting in China before it hits U.S. shores. Now I know Cohen seems to have a new blurb of news about Mummy every day, but this is actually pretty interesting. American films almost always debut in the US way before they hit Europe and Asia. The fact that the film takes place in China and had a mostly Chinese crew could play into this, and many believe that the film?s setting and time period will make it a huge success in that country.
