Chan Eats ?Skin?
Variety reported today that shooting recently began on the Chinese supernatural thriller Painted Skin, starring Donnie Yen (Lung Fu Moon) and Zhou Xun (The Banquet). The film originally had a budget of $10 million, but that number?s risen to $15 million and the original directors have been replaced. Wilson Yip Wai-shun and Andy Chin Wing-keung were sharing the directing duties of the film, but now Gordon Chan has taken their place. The story features a woman who eats the skin and heart of her lovers. Man, a plot like that is just begging for an ex-girlfriend joke, isn?t it?
