A Sequel to ?The Cell??
Video Business is reporting that, due to the WGA strike, a slew of new direct-to-DVD movies will be slamming into your life. Included in this deluge of titles is a sequel to the near-forgettable Jennifer Lopez starrer The Cell. The new film will star Frank Whaley (Vacancy) and Tessie Santiago. Remember The Cell? The slowly paced story about Lopez as a brain-traveling detective who goes into a serial killer?s mind while he?s in a coma? Remember? I was young enough to think it looked cool when it first came out, so I saw that sleeper in the theaters (hmm?I have to stop publicly announcing things like that).
