Bayona Not Interested in English ?Orphanage?
The director of The Orphanage, Juan Antonio Bayona, has declined an offer to direct an English language remake to the film. The offer was made by producer Guillermo del Toro, but SCI FI Wire is reporting Bayona felt it was too much of the same, and that he?d like to work on something different and won?t be offended if the film is changed around?stating, "One play can be done a thousand times, and nobody complains about that." Very true, Juan Antonio Bayona, very true. But Arthur Miller never had to worry about Rob Zombie getting his mitts on Death of a Salesman, now did he?
