Tarantino Gets an Award!

Quentin Tarantino has been announced as the recipient of the 2008 Ray-Ban Visionary Award at a Sundance Film Festival presentation on January 20th. The RBVA?as I?m going to call it?is awarded to those in the entertainment industry who present a clarity and uniqueness of vision. Past winners include, among various producers and execs, actors Aaron Eckhart, Matt Dillon and Kevin Bacon. The award not only takes into account his directorial efforts, but also all of Tarantino?s producing credits, including Hostel and the upcoming Hell Ride. Good show, Tarantino, good show.
