Oddly enough, not a lot of horror DVDs are released during Christmas week. Let alone Christmas day.
Matter of fact, I can keep this real short: A kidnapping thriller called Shattered, starring Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello; a strange-looking indie called Darkness Surrounds Roberta; and a creepy Thai import called simply P. Oh, and if you own a next-gen DVD player, today you can get Paul Schrader's Cat People on HD -- and the brilliant Pan's Labyrinth in HD or Blu-Ray.
Also, it's not horror, but Cronenberg's Eastern Promises hits this week, and it's absolutely worth two hours.
That's pretty much it. Happy horrordays and see you next year!
