More and more often, in recent years, I've found myself being asked to read screenplays and story treatments written by various peers and associates. Most recently, I was asked to eyeball a story outline for a ghost story - a feature film being written by a friend and colleague. (I don't think he wants me blabbing about his project to anyone yet, so I won't divulge his name, or the plot or title of his movie here.)

The film project I'm developing that has the most momentum currently, and has the greatest chance of being made, is a horror feature I wrote last year... that I can't talk about, or even divulge the title of yet. The first draft was completed last summer, and since then I've been working with my producer to fine tune the screenplay.

The Days Of The Dead, Atlanta horror convention and film festival will be lurching to life February 7th through the 9th. The film fest, programmed by Jason Hoover of Jabb Pictures, will run 'round the clock throughout the weekend. Mr. Hoover contacted me to ask if he could include a double feature of my work: Scrapbook (1999) and Deadwood Park (2007). They'll screen back-to-back Saturday night, February 8th.
