Exclusive: 'Holliston' Hotties Corri English and Laura Ortiz Say Happy Halloween

During my recent visit to the set of Holliston – FEARnet's original twisted comedy series due out next year – I had the pleasure of meeting two young women who, in the days ahead, are sure to reduce geeks everywhere to tiny puddles of drool. Meet actress-musician Corri English and actress-comedienne Laura Ortiz, pictured above from left to right. The two play, respectively, the ex-girlfriend of Holliston creator and star Adam Green's character (also named Adam) and the current girlfriend of star Joe Lynch's character (conveniently named Joe). While on set, I asked these two ladies if they could share with me their plans for Halloween. Find out what they said after the jump.

Corri English:

"I usually am so last minute about Halloween things. Even in terms of a costume. Every year I have the greatest of intentions, like ‘I'm gonna get a great costume! It's gonna be awesome!' Then I wind up pulling something out of my closet that can be a Catholic schoolgirl or a cowgirl. I don't know. It always ends up being something so lame. But you know the only criteria for girls is that it has to be slutty. A slutty clown, a slutty witch, a slutty goblin… A ghost can't just be a sheet with holes in it; it has to be a hot ghost. [Laughs.] So I'm sure it will be something that I'll pull out of my closet that fits that criteria. People tell me I look like Britney Spears a lot. So if I go as a Catholic schoolgirl, people tend to think I'm going as Britney Spears, even though it's not intentional. So yeah, the answer is I have no idea what I'm going to be doing for Halloween. I'm not actually sure whether I'm going to be here or in Nashville.  Because I split my time between here and Nashville. I haven't done Halloween in Nashville yet. Then maybe I just need to go with the cowgirl. Although people will be like, ‘Why didn't you wear a costume?' [Laughs.]"

Laura Ortiz:

"I'm sure Adam and Adam's wife will tell me what I'm going to dress up as. [Laughs.] I've celebrated Halloween with them before. They love Halloween. At any given moment, you can just mention under your breath, ‘I wonder how many days until Halloween?' And Adam will come out with an exact answer in hours. Right now I will bet you any amount of money that he knows exactly how many days until Halloween.

"My favorite Halloween memory… I don't know they all have different things. I know a lot of people think it's a pain in the butt to go to the Santa Monica thing – whatever it is they do, where everyone goes in their costume – but I love it. People get so creative. People go above and beyond in LA. I love watching that. If there's one place to go look at costumes, it's here."
