What’s your favorite horror movie?
Wow, that's a tough one because there have been so many great ones made. I think there's never been a movie made than The Exorcist. It's as good as the best of any genre, so that might be my favorite. Alien is right there with it. Also, The Haunting and The Innocents.
Who is your favorite movie monster?
Probably the Alien. [H.R.] Giger touches on our most primal fear and that's cockroaches. I mean look at that thing. It's a cockroach on top of that guy's head!
What inspires your art?
Sometimes music. When I discovered Green Day's American Idiot album, I just listened to it non-stop. I also listen to a lot of books on tape while I'm painting.
