We’ve got some news that’s gonna make indie horror fans very happy this Valentine’s Day! New York City’s Walter Reade Theater is planning to host a two-week event, in which fans will get a preview screening of some under-recognized films that have not yet acquired distribution. And in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the event will kick off on February 14th with George Romero’s heartbreaking (as well as heart–ripping and –eating) Diary of the Dead. Other fright flicks in the series include the Spanish-zombie festival favorite Rec and the bloody Inside, the acclaim for which got its directors tapped to do the new Hellraiser!
