5 Cool Comic-Con Exclusives

Every year, Comic-Con brings with it its share of exclusive collectibles, and encourages collectors to line up and empty their wallets. Hit the jump for our picks of exclusives from those offered at this year’s event.

Alan Moore's Neonomicon #1 San Diego Exclusive

Only 1500 copies were printed of this, the exclusive edition of the first issue of an all-new Lovecraft-inspired horror comic series from legendary scribe Alan Moore and artist Jacen Burrows. Published by Avatar Press and available at booth 2701 for four dollars, where you can get it signed by Burrows.

The Twilight Zone Invader Bobble Head - Color - SDCC Exclusive

504 were made of the exclusive color version of this creepy little space-invader bobble head, one of several based on classic episodes of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone. It’s available for fifteen dollars, from Entertainment Earth.

Pan’s Labyrinth Pale Man - Mini Bust

Gentle Giant has once again prepared some first-rate mini-busts for Comic-Con, including the freaky Pale Man from Pan’s Labyrinth. Available for 70 dollars in a production run of 700. The company will have Pan’s director Guillermo Del Toro, as well as the Pale Man himself – actor Doug Jones – at its booth.

Hot Wheels: Ecto-1

Mattel has a handful of cool new toys at their booth this year, but none cooler than this surefire hit from Ghostbusters, which the company describes as “the most detailed 1:64 version of the Ecto-1 to date…  Featuring a die-cast body, die-cast chassis, Real Rider tires, and a box that looks like Ghostbusters ghost trap.” An undetermined number of these are available for twenty bucks each.

Specimen 687M Legendary Scale Bust

From Sideshow Collectibles line of The Dead figures and mini-busts comes this “the brain of the once reanimated corpse. These specimens offer a cure, and when they find one, you must Be Ready...” The Specimen 687M Legendary Scale Bust is available for $59.99 at the Sideshow booth.
