Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, thechineseroom's follow up to the underwear-staining Amnesia: The Dark Descent, won't be hitting this Halloween as originally planned according to GameZone. But there's good reason...
When asked about the possible Samhain release, creative director Dan Pinchbeck responded "No, it's slid back to early 2013. The quality of the game is the absolute first, last, and always with this development, and we felt it could do with a few more months' work to make sure that's really going to happen."
So it's going back to the butcher for a proper trimming and dressing. While the idea that they're trying to release the best quality product--one that's a direct sequel to a new classic, even--is reassuring, there is still some pain to waiting. This is coming from the guy typing this from a freshly-built desktop...sigh.
