Behemoth Launch 'Lucifer,' Reissue 'Demonica' [NSFW]

We've been updating you on this one for several weeks, and today it's finally here... the long-awaited video for "Lucifer," the colossal ending track from the 2009 album Evangelion by Poland's ultimate demons of metal. In addition to being totally freaking evil, this video is also rather unsafe for work, which should come as no surprise considering their previous visual efforts. In related news, the band will soon be releasing Demonica, a collection of their early material, and we've got more details on that from Behemoth frontman Nergal himself. Hit the jump and get ready for one hell of a ride... literally!

First, let's take a look at the upcoming Demonica: the collection is being repackaged as a two-CD set with two companion booklets, one overing rare photos and the other containing lyrics not printed in the original 2006 release. Frontman Nergal commented on the intense work required to compile the new materials, calling it "a difficult task, demanding patience and time." He was determined to preserve the lyrics in their original form, despite some mistakes found in translation.

"The fact that none of them has ever been published before, speaks of their exceptional collectors or even historical value," Nergal added. "All the lyrics, despite their imperfections and just terrible English, depict me from the time of their creation. I still believe that it was a very straightforward and honest material, which had its mighty influence on who I am today."

Here's the complete tracklist for Demonica, which is slated for North American release on November 22nd:
