Behold the Tracks From GUITAR HERO: METALLICA!

You may recall us telling you about the pending arrival of the glorious Guitar Hero: Metallica not so long ago, and how it's gonna rock your ass off with awesome features – classic performance venues, option to play as any or all band members, expert-plus double-kick drum mode, and so on – and we know it's been pure hell staring at the calendar waiting for the damn thing to get here. Yes, the official release date of March 29 (at least for Xbox and PS3, with a projected May release for Wii and PS2) seems like an eternity... but we're here to help. Well, a little bit. Maybe. Hey, knowledge is power, right?

Anyway, the band has just announced the complete track listing for the game, so here it is, in alphabetical order:

Dyers Eve
Enter Sandman
Fade To Black
Fight Fire With Fire
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Hit The Lights

Anyone who downloaded the band's new album Death Magnetic for PS3 or Xbox will be able to hear all ten tracks in their entirety in Full Game mode. The Wii and PS2 versions are not compatible with this download, but will include the songs “Broken Beat & Scarred,” “Cyanide” and “My Apocalypse.”Other artists featured in the game include Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Judas Priest, Mastodon, Motörhead, Queen, Slayer, System of a Down and tons more, totaling nearly 50 songs in all.
