Rob Zombie may be one of the biggest names in horror, but he has a soft, four-legged side. Zombie is auctioning off his custom 1967 Ford F-100 truck for a charity called The Puppy Rescue Mission.

The truck was created by Danny "The Count" Koker from The History Channel series Counting Cars. Some of the custom upgrades to the truck include: 429 Cobra Jet V8, C-6 Automatic transmission, Edelbrock intake, Quick fuel carburetor, MSD distributor, Taylor spark plug wires, MSD core, Cobra valve covers & air cleaner, DJM front lowering I-beams, rear drop kit, Wheel Smith Steelie Wheels, Hoosier rear slicks, new front tires, Flow Master custom exhaust, Gennie 3-gear shifter, custom spider shift knob, mini-tubed, semi-pro street look, welded and smoothed tailgate and bed, Alpine CD/Radio with two 6" speakers, custom paint (flat black), hand pin-striping, full color gloss Zombie graphics, airbrushing and custom deep green sparkle upholstery, doors, dash and bed cover.

The Puppy Rescue Mission is a dog rescue with a specific focus: to bring home stray dogs from war zones with the soldiers they befriended. "It was probably the only moment of sanity for these guys, when they spent time with them [the dogs],” explains Zombie. “Some of the stories I’ve heard are horrible: people would torture these dogs, and kill them for fun. These guys saved these dogs, and really bonded with them.”

The auction will run on eBay from October 23rd at 8pm PT through November 2nd at 8pm PT. You can place bids at Unite the United's merchant page (keyword search Rob Zombie Charity Truck). If you are in the Los Angeles area, you can check out the truck in person at Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare
