OK folks, time to start praying for that early Christmas bonus/extra government stimulus/wacky 80’s movie-style identity mixup to drop a bag o’ cash in your lap by October. On top of the already pretty heavily loaded October release schedule (it’s like the horror nuts Christmas with Ghostbusters, Prototype, SAW, Brutal Legend), 2K Games let the cat out of the bag in a conference call today regarding the release date for their upcoming money-maker Bioshock 2.
According to Kotaku, Bioshock 2 developed by 2K Marin, is scheduled to make its appearance in Europe on October 30th, with the North American release trailing four days after on November 3rd. The platforms are listed as “TBA,” but the most likely candidates will be the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. I don’t know about you folks, but with this rough economy, buying all these titles come fall will be more than a little daunting, so I’m planning ahead.
