Snowballs in hell I tell ya - Hilary Duff (yes, THAT Hilary Duff) and Kevin Zegers are set to star in an indie adaptation of the ‘67 Arthur Penn classic, Bonnie and Clyde. According to Variety, ‘Tonya S. Holly (When I Find the Ocean) will direct the film from her own script, which is a new adaptation of the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow rather than a remake of the 1967 classic film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. Holly began working on the project after reading old newspaper articles about the gangster pair in an abandoned house on her family's property.’ I feel like a broken record, but again, I have to ask, ‘Why bother?’, if this is another ‘Let’s remake it because kids today would never watch a film from the 60’s’ then I say no go. Although I have to admit, the prospect of seeing Duff filled with bullet holes is mighty appealing. Look for more info on this one if it ever sees the light of day.
